David's Trip to Myrtle Beach

David was lucky enough to get a few days by himself with the grandparents.  As always, he was spoiled rotten!  I'm typing this as I'm thinking about how much I miss him.  I know he isn't missing me but that's okay.  He's livin' large in Myrtle Beach so I can't blame him.  Here's a few pictures of things David gets to do when we aren't around...
Eat Girl Scout cookies - lots and lots of them.  I just noticed that Day Day has a pamphlet stuck in his glasses.  What's up with that???
Have his hair combed like Elvis.
Stay up late and watch The Voice.
Go to cool, new parks.
Watch movies in the "grandalade."

He also got to go to the movies with Me-Ma!  Lucky guy!

St. Patrick's Day

Happy St. Patrick's Day!  The boys were excited about their green breakfast!  They liked it so much, we did it again for dinner. :)

 David drew a leprechaun.  Cute!
Up close.  He wants to give it to his teachers, Ms. Lisa and Ms. Linda.

Happy to be back to blogging

So, tonight I was showing the boys the printed blog books we have (from when I used to do this regularly) and it broke my heart knowing I've let this go.  Instead of blogging less frequently or just not as lengthy, I let it go all together and that I regret!  I'm sure there aren't any readers out there anymore and that's okay. After seeing how much the boys enjoyed the books we have, I'm back at this for them!  I'll start in the present and fill in the last year and a half as I can fit it in.  Happy to be back :)
This is what I found when I came back from the gym this morning.  Looks like some of us are still getting used to spring forward.  Love these boys!
Here's one of David's school pictures proofs.  It was hell to get him in that sweater but you would never know it by that smile!
I went to get my hair trimmed and colored last night and my stylist asked if she could please straighten it afterward for a before and after shot.  They needed a client to feature on their website that night, blah blah blah.  I'm not a fan of my hair straight but I'm also not a fan of saying no so I agreed.  It looked fine and of course I knew it would be curly again after showering so no biggie.  The guys didn't understand that and had no problems letting me know right away that they didn't approve!  George kind of smiled and said, "How long will it be like that?"  Drew wasn't as tactful and said, "Whoa!  What happened to your hair???  I like it WAY, WAY better the other way!"  Mother nature must have agreed on the new do because a major downpour came out of nowhere during soccer practice that evening and we were all soaked instantly.  Bye bye blow out!
Drenched!
