Track Out & Easter

Drew was tracked out for most of April and now we are into the last quarter of school.  Where does the time go?  He had a great three weeks, one spent at a theater camp, a week at good ole Prestonwood (always fun with tons of friends), and a week at the beach.  Lucky Drewby!  At the theater camp, campers spend the week memorizing lines and making the set in preparation for the performance for family and friends on Friday evening.  The play was Alice and Wonderland and Drew had the part of the Mad Hatter and a card.  He also welcomed the crowd with friend and neighbor, Lauren.  In Myrtle Beach, it was all relaxing, no rushing, and lots of time spent in pajamas.  Drew stays pretty darn busy at home with school, homework, sports, and friends so when he has a chance, he loves to take it easy.  His weekend wasn't short on fun though - he packed a ton of sports equipment (roller blades, soccer ball and goal, bike...) and also had some fun outings.  His favorite was the Illusions of Magic show with Day Day.  It sounds like a pretty exciting show!  Day Day joked that the tickets were cheap but walking through the gift shop cost a fortune!  He got Drew a white tiger stuffed animal (a show favorite) along with some magician supplies.  Saber, the tiger, has a habitat Drew built out of boxes as well as some treats and toys.  Drew loves that thing!  Pretty cute.

George, David, and I went to Myrtle Beach Easter weekend to pick up Drew and stay a couple of days.  The weather wasn't pretty but we had a wonderful weekend.  We went to a cool new park and soccer complex in North Myrtle Beach.  The boys spent a long time on the playground and then we played a keep-away soccer game.  Fun stuff!  CC was quite good and we all determined I was the worst.  I blame it on the shoes.  The rest of the weekend was filled with good food, Easter treats, and lots of family time.

Going over the theater rules during the introduction.
Drew, Lauren, and Andrea post-show.  Drew proudly wore both costumes!
We celebrated after with hibachi at Ginza where David ate every last morsel
of rice and wouldn't leave until his plate was licked clean.
Love when my boys read together.  On this night, they couldn't even make
it past the bathroom door before getting started.
Roller blades!!!  As if our chances of injury aren't high enough.  Geez!  They are improving pretty quickly though and love playing roller hockey with friends.
Too cute!
Captain America 2!
Easter baskets!  Drew broke those cute glasses two minutes later.  Sheesh.
Of course the candy was sweet David's favorite part.
 Dying Easter eggs at Me-Ma's.
George working on a soccer ball egg - it was a hit.
