Mel's Wedding

My big-hearted and beautiful cousin, Melanie, got married on May 24 and what a wedding it was!  The Gundies know how to do it right!  From the bridal luncheon on Friday, to dancing late into the night on Saturday, it was definitely a weekend to remember. Thanks Melanie, James, and both families for including us in the celebration!

Sweet Mae Mae treated the cousins and spouses to dinner on Friday night.  Here's T and me after a few Kale Ale's.  As Cristie said, what's not to love about combining alcohol with veggies!

My handsome boys.

Sweeties!!
They were in awe of the polaroid picture!  It's neat that in the digital age, the kiddos thought a "real" photo was incredible.

Sharp dressed boy!
Three good lookin' fellas.
The Whitley's :)
Drew with beautiful CC.
Stephen was such a charming brother of the bride.
Sweet and lovely Mae Mae was escorted by Stephen.  Love it!
Awe!  Giving away the bride.
Married!!!
  The happy couple!

 I love this picture.
Oh my goodness, so sweet.  These two were darling all night long.

David's Children's Campus Graduation

Sweet David graduated from the Children's Campus pre-school on May 23rd.  He's been there almost three years and they've been so good to him and to us.  He was so proud of the graduation program and excited for Drew, CC, Day Day, Me-Maw, and George and me to see it.  We were very proud too!

 Patiently waiting for his turn.

The boys with Ms. Amy, the school director.  We adore her!
David's teachers, Ms. Lynda and Ms. Lisa
 Best friend Duncan!
David's teachers made a scrapbook of his time at the Children's Campus.  This is one of my favorite pages.  David and Duncan are such good pals!

Mother's Day

We were so lucky to have both CC and Me-Ma in town for Mother's Day.  We are so thankful for them and all of the other incredible Moms in our lives that we love so dearly - Cristie, aunts, cousins, and dear friends!! We celebrated with a lovely lunch at Prestonwood and then went back to our house to celebrate Cristie's birthday.  In a nutshell, way too much food!

David crashed our pic of the Moms.

Mother/Son dance.  What fine dates I had!

Kiki the athlete

Looks like being Drew's little brother is starting to pay off.  I don't mean to be hard on Drew but anyone that spends time with the boys will agree that Drew shows David no mercy.  Sometimes I wish Drew was a little more gentle but maybe it's not such a bad thing after all. David certainly is tough and has become quite the little athlete. Being dragged to the soccer field season after season got David pretty prepped for his own soccer debut this spring.  I'm not saying he's David Beckham or anything but for four years old, the kid can play.

And the big news is... David is a Prestonwood Piranha!!  He had his heart set on being a part of the swim team with Drewby and the older neighborhood kids he adores.  He did swim lessons for a couple of months and got ready for the evaluation.  He passed and was so proud.  He came out of the water and asked, "Mama, am I a piranha?"  Precious.  We went straight to the swim shop to get the official swim suit and the kid celebrated big.  Forget practice or meets, he's pleased as punch to just be on the team.  Drew was super proud of him and George and I are too.  Looks like we'll be spending plenty of time at the pool this summer!

Check him out in those jammers!  He HAD to have tight swim trunks like the swim-teamers.
