Spring "Break"

It's been spring "break" around here this week and I put "break" in quotations because it just means more work for me :) Drew's preschool was closed as well as Little Kickers so we've had to find lots of fun things to fill our days. In addition to that, construction started on our unfinished 3rd floor so it's been mass chaos at our home. It was a real pleasure to try to get the boys down for naps while the framing was being done! George is jazzed about the construction since the completion of this project will be a "man cave" but I don't quite share his level of excitement. Trying to stay out of the house in order to be out of the way has proven to be pretty tiring for the boys and for me too! Drew was so tired by 6pm on Tuesday night that he got off of his bike and laid flat out in Preston's driveway for a "rest break." We were told the first few days of construction are the most distruptive so hopefully the coming weeks will prove easier. I am looking forward to the finished product and hope it's done in time for a Dancing With the Stars finale party with the gals!
We celebrated George's birthday on Friday night with the neighborhood crowd. Here he is with another birthday cake!
George and I went out Saturday night with some friends. We had a fun dinner and did some dancing. Well, I did lots of dancing and George danced to one song.

Drew making a picture for the "working man." Drew is obsessed with the construction workers and wants to either be watching them, helping them, offering them water or making them pictures whenever we are home.

Playtime on the porch.

Unintentional headlock.

David makes a funny face!
Sweeties!
