Mountain Wedding
My cousin Jenny got married on Saturday in the mountains outside of Roanoke, VA. All of us took a trip to the beautiful wedding which was held in my Aunt's back yard. They have tons of land and a gorgeous view! Drew and David were absolutely perfect in the car and did well at the event too. I was proud! We enjoyed seeing so much family and had a great time at the wedding. We wish Jenny and Nick a wonderful future and all the best in Seattle!
Drew plays on the quilt of toys set out for the kids.
Drew was very impressed with Uncle Mike's "Monster to scare off the bad monsters."
The happy couple! Congratulations Jenny and Nick!

Blog Slacker
I have been very tardy on my blog updates. The boys were sick so we haven't been doing much and I didn't take many pictures. Drew had double ear infections and David had a little cold. They seem to be better but of course now George and I don't feel so hot. Here's just a couple of recent pictures. I'll update the blog shortly with pictures from our busy weekend; My cousin Jenny got married and we went to a really fun Halloween party.

Whitley's Two!
My niece Whitley turned two on Monday so we headed to her house to celebrate. Cristie hosted a darling "Finding Nemo" themed party! The decorations and cake were so precious and the meal was delicious! We had a great time! Happy Birthday to sweet and beautiful Whitley!
Whitley and Drew play on Whitley's new table.
Drew gets as close as possible to the birthday presents just hoping one might be for him!
Precious video of Whitley while everyone sings to her. Drew knew every word to the Happy Birthday song and practiced all the way to the party. He was so excited to sing to Whitley but then just grinned when everyone started singing.
My Best Friend's Wedding
George, David and I left early last Friday for Panama City Beach where my bestfriend in the whole world, Angel, got married. We decided to leave Drew here with my Mom and although we missed him sooooooooo much, it was nice to have the time to be as much a part of Angel's special weekend as possible. It would have been more chaotic with both kids and therefore harder to enjoy the festivities. Drew didn't seem to mind (heck, he hardly noticed!) that we were gone and had a great weekend with CC. She and Mae Mae took him to a museum, Mae Mae's park and shopping. CC also took him to Aunt Cristie's one day to play with Whitley. Thank you CC for watching Drewby!!! The wedding weekend was wonderful! George and I really enjoyed being in Florida although the high temps and humidity were quite a shock. There was a party Friday night, the wedding on Saturday and a brunch Sunday morning. All of the events were lovely and the food was fantastic! We stayed at a condo with Angel's parents which was great because most of the action took place there so we hardly had to leave. David was able to get comfy in his pack and play and even slept through the entire party Friday night. Everyone was very sweet about David and I showed off my pictures of Drew! Angel was a gorgeous bride and her wedding was so beautiful! We were thrilled to be a part of it!!! Congratulations Angel and Walt!!!
David's first flight. He was so perfect!
Angel and I at the "black and white" party Friday night. She had a birthday cake for me! So sweet!
David wore his LSU gear on Saturday before the wedding. He's sticking his tongue out at the Gators.

Big Birthday Weekend!
Today is my 30th birthday and we celebrated over the weekend with two fun nights! On Friday, the Watsons and our neighborhood crew surprised me at home when I thought just George and I were going to dinner. George arranged a big taxi van to transport everyone and we enjoyed a delicious dinner at one of my favorite sushi restaurants. It was a great night! On Saturday, George and I went to the U2 concert and had a ball! Every song was my favorite song and I didn't want the show to end. Thank you to our fabulous babysitters - Me-Ma and her friend Carol on Friday and Cristie and Melanie on Saturday!!! As my sister put it, "It's a two person job!" and we greatly appreciate your help! It was so nice to know the boys were well taken care of and in such loving hands.
