Beach Boys

We were at the beach with family the end of June. We had such a fantastic trip! Just looking through these pictures makes me smile. Our week started off on Father's Day. We enjoyed all being together. My parents hosted lots of folks throughout the week; The Gunderson's and Smith's the first weekend, the Whitley's in the middle and then the Orban's toward the end of the week. The rotating company was tons of fun and the boys enjoyed playing with new folks! Everyone was so sweet to the kids, it make the vacation very easy for George and I! The boys were spoiled with family eager to build sand castles, play in the water, look for shells and give them multiple popsicles . The weather was perfect all week and we took full advantage of it. We went to the beach every day for hours. The boys loved it so much that the time just flew by. David was absolutely hysterical! He just ran and ran and ran. He was so happy to have a wide open play place. We all got the biggest kick out of what a good time he was having. Most evenings were spent eating (so much delicious food!) and drinking at my parents house but we did venture out a couple of nights. One night we went to the Pirates Voyage, a brand new dinner theater show. It was a huge hit! I have so many pictures that I will do a separate post for it. Another night Me-Ma took Drew to play miniature golf for the first time. It was such a great week. We enjoyed every minute hanging out with Me-Ma, CC, Day Day, the Watson's and all of the guests. Get ready for tons of pictures...

David with his movie headphones.

George reaching for the margarita ingredients. Time to kick off of a great vacation! I love T peaking in the corner :)

Look at those two beautiful ladies!

Happy Father's Day to the best!

Couple of great Dad's!

The Dad's on Father's Day. We had a great meal and cake to celebrate.

Look at those curly haired cuties! They couldn't wait to dig into that cake. And dig-in is what they did! Uncle Mike suggested giving them each a spoon and letting them have at it. It was cute! Afterward, Drew said, "Did you see us destroy the cake?" He couldn't believe he was allowed to do that!

Day Day and Drew are always playing rough!

I was busy taking pictures and Whitley said, "Aunt Stacy, take a picture of us!" So we did!
What a cutie!

Tired kids all drinking their milk in "CC's bed."

Cristie and I with the beach-lovin' trio!

Mom took a picture of George and I. I so rarely have one of just the two of us so here it is!

Will the redneck pool ever stop being a hit? They fought over it daily.

Whitley and David spent so much time together at the beach. He loves her so much and she is so sweet to him.

Back in the pool.

The Whitley boys help the Davis boys build a castle.

Me-Ma let the boys eat breakfast in front of the TV every morning, Drew at George's childhood table.

Another great day for Drew.

Pausing for a quick second but getting ready to take off for another sprint.

Handsome fellas.

CC and Day Day did a treasure hunt for the kids one day. Here's CC showing Drew the map and he's trying to figure out where to go. The maps were hysterical. I saved one for Drew's memory box. He will get a kick out of it someday.

David went out with a bang one day! He was absolutely filthy. Not only was he covered in sand but then the red popsicle dripped down his chest and belly and stuck to him. There is even some red juice at the top of his diaper. You can see it really well if you click the picture to zoom in.

A golf cart ride one night. Drew and Whitley are in the back with Anne-Marie, Brian's girlfriend. The kids loved her!

David following Whitley around and imitating her every move. They were so precious to watch.

Three kids, three bags of Goldfish.

Cheese!

Mom and Dad and their great friends, the Orban's.

Best option out of the family pics.
