Pirates Voyage

Pirates Voyage was one of the highlights of our beach trip. It recently opened in Myrtle Beach and we were all looking forward to taking the kids. Drew is probably our biggest pirate fan but we all enjoyed the show. They had a huge gift shop of course so Day Day and Me-Ma outfitted Drew in a full Jack Sparrow costume. It is really cool! He insisted on putting it on before the show started. He also wore it numerous times throughout the rest of the week. He asked to wear it for Halloween but at this rate it will be a rag by then. I mentioned in the previous post that I had a lot of pictures. Here we go...

The show starts and "serious Drew" comes out. He gets really into stuff. This is the exact face he made when we went to Medieval Times. I always wonder if he is enjoying it but of course he is. He asks at least once a day when we can go back to see the pirate show again.

Drew looks like he's trying to solve world peace. Day Day and I asked him many times if he was okay and he always replied, "Yes, please stop it." The show included a five course meal. Drew took exactly zero bites. He did drink three sips of his Pepsi but that was only because Day Day held it to his mouth. Drew just refused to do anything other than focus on the show. I'm glad he enjoyed it that much!

David finally got wiggly during the last few minutes. George stood up with him and all was fine again.

This picture was totally Drew's idea. I asked him to turn and look at me and he got so annoyed. He had a vision and wanted it done his way. He asked to see the picture and was very pleased with it.

Drew refused to smile. He was in total pirate character.
