Minnesota Trip!

All four of us traveled to Minneapolis to visit Mom and Dad! I am behind on my blogging so we've been back a week and I'm just now posting. We had the trip planned prior to the finding of Dad's aneurysm so although the timing for our family visit may not have been ideal, I am very glad we went and got to spend so much time with Mom and Dad! I have quite a few photos so I'll let the pictures tell the story of our visit...

Plane ride to Minneapolis! George and I had our hands full between the boys, three carry-on rolling suitcases, a diaper bag and the double stroller. It felt like we traveled across the world but it was only a 2 1/2 hour flight! Drew was very good on the plane and kept busy with books and games. David was sweet but got a little restless. He made friends with everyone around us and won them over with his adorable smile!
CC took Drew shopping and he picked out a dragon castle. Fun!

David had a ball with all of CC's toys! CC has accumulated so many toys over the last few years. She gets some new ones every time one of her grand kids visits so she has quite the collection!

We spent lots of time at the park. It was within walking distance of Mom and Dad's house so we went every morning and every evening. Drew called it "CC's park" and when we saw another family there one day he asked me why they were playing at CC's park.
Where is Day Day? We played hide and seek at the park over and over. This was Day Day's hiding spot. We got a kick out of that!

David chillin' on CC. He got so tired at the park in the evenings. We have visited Mom and Dad in Minnesota every summer for the past few years and still can't get used to the fact that the sun doesn't set until after 10pm. It was so hard to get Drew to bed at a decent hour with broad daylight streaming through the blinds. Needless to say, the boys got completely off schedule but we had fun doing it!
More Minnesota posts to come...
